The job of a Medical Assistant is to support physicians by performing simple clinical procedures and managing office procedures and administration. Participants of this program will receive hands on practical experience and will be confident in performing a number of tasks including:

• Diagnostic tests using the relevant medical equipment and techniques
• Help with patient procedures, drawing blood and administering injections
• Demonstrate critical thinking and information management skills
• Display advanced communication skills
